Sewanee DataLab is a summer internship program at the University of the ²ÝÝ®ÊÓÆµ that provides professional training and experience in data science for social good. We invite undergraduate students from all majors and backgrounds to apply. DataLab seeks interns committed to social change by learning to use data analysis and related computer coding skills to promote data-driven change by organizations serving the public interest. No prior coding experience is required, but students with coding experience who are interested in learning how to use data science for the social good are encouraged to apply.
The stipend for this internship is $3200, with possible additional financial aid.

Through an arrangement with the University of the ²ÝÝ®ÊÓÆµ, the , and the , DataLab seeks to help qualified students to find funding for this internship in the following ways:
University of the ²ÝÝ®ÊÓÆµ students should apply to Sewanee DataLab through Sewanee’s Career Center.
Students from Appalachian College Association schools should apply to Sewanee DataLab through the application process. (Note: the Ledford Scholar application deadline is February 25.)
Students from the Sullivan Foundation network of schools not eligible for ACA Ledford awards are encouraged to apply to the DataLab directly. The Sullivan Foundation is committed to working with DataLab to support as many successful applicants from Sullivan schools as possible.
