There are many opportunities for American college graduates to teach abroad, varying widely in structure, geography, and requirements.
Many are run directly by the United States or foreign governments. In some programs, fluency in the language of the host country is an essential prerequisite, while others are willing and able to provide language training to those selected to participate. Many jobs may require , which can be pursued through online or in-person coursework. Additionally, there are a number of options for undergraduates to gain international education experience while studying abroad, either through service-learning programs in schools or through internships for credit.
