assistant PROFESSOR OF PSYCHOLOGY
B.s., Virginia Tech; M.A., PH.D., Johns Hopkins university
Thomas Reppert has taught courses at Sewanee since 2020. He is Assistant Professor of Psychology and Neuroscience at the University of the ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ.
Dr. Reppert’s research explores the link between control of movement and decision-making. His research asks the degree to which movement vigor, or the speed with which we make our movements, may be treated as a trait-like attribute of individuality. To address this question, his lab employs a combination of measures of behavior (video-oculography), physiology (EEG), and select psychological constructs (e.g., impulsiveness).
Dr. Reppert welcomes collaborations with students who are interested in investigating the link between motor control and decision-making.
