Behind the Scenes: Theatre and dance at Sewanee
This year, Sewanee’s Department of Theatre & Dance invites you behind the curtain for an exclusive look at its 2025–26 season. From a reimagining of The Oresteia (Oct. 7) to the annual DanceWise performance (Nov. 12) and the dark comedy The Moors (Feb. 24), these productions showcase the range and rigor of Sewanee’s performing arts. You’ll tour the Tennessee Williams Center (yes, that Tennessee Williams), sit in on a working dress rehearsal, and enjoy dinner at McClurg Dining Hall.

for Oct. 7 - The Oresteia by Ellen McLaughlin, adapted from a trilogy by Aeschylus

for Nov. 12 - DanceWise

for Feb. 24 - The Moors by Jen Silverman
