Residential Life oversees summer housing for all enrolled summer students and student workers. Summer housing is for current Sewanee undergraduates who are working, conducting research on campus, or enrolled in classes during the summer.
Please note that there are different housing periods for summer school students and summer workers:
Summer school students may reside on campus from Sunday, June 8 to Sunday, July 20, 2025 at 10 a.m. Summer school students are those who are taking a class at Sewanee.
Summer workers may reside on campus from Friday, May 16 to Sunday, July 27, 2025 at 10 a.m. Summer workers are students employed by the University of the ²ÝÝ®ÊÓÆµ.
Summer housing will be located in Ayres Hall and McCrady Hall. Students will be assigned housing based on preference listed on the application and space availability.

Please note: Housing applications must be submitted at least two business days before your desired move-in date. Housing will be assigned based on the preferences submitted in the application and space availability. Preference for specific amenities (e.g., air-conditioning (AC), single rooms, etc.) is subject to availability and overall occupancy needs and cannot be guaranteed.
The pricing listed below remains the same for the entire summer, regardless of whether you are a summer school student or a summer worker.
Single Occupancy with Air Conditioning: $1,570.00
Double Occupancy with Air Conditioning: $1,182.00
Summer workers have the option to purchase a meal plan but are not required to do so.
The meal plan will be available only during summer school, from Sunday, June 8, to Saturday, July 19, 2025.
All Residential Life and University policies remain consistent with academic year policies.
