The Arts Amplified advisory committee would like to invite student proposals for performances and exhibitions across campus to model collaboration and activate our campus. 

• If you’d like to set up a pop-up exhibition in the lobby of the TWC or Guerry Auditorium and stage an event in dialogue with a scheduled formal performance, we will help you do so. 
• If you have a performance idea - whether dance, song, reading or musical composition - for one of our established exhibition spaces and a scheduled exhibition, please let us know. 
• If you’d like to put on a reading of an original monologue or play that confronts the EQB monument or the narthex windows, we will help you do so. 

There are many possibilities. Be creative! 

All proposals to be supported by Arts Amplified must combine (at least) TWO different visual and performing arts by students. Priority will be given to proposals that have a clear collaborative element, that bring the arts into conversation with places or other events on campus, that model how the arts can be a lens for engaging with ideas and topics, and that activate surprising spaces on campus. Proposals must include a description of the event, and a thoughtful rationale for the collaboration. Please provide a list of participants, and a detailed list of equipment or materials needs. Proposals must demonstrate consideration for the logistics and users of the proposed location, (please check and the before submitting your proposal), and must be feasible in terms of materials, equipment, staff, and other resources required. Proposed performances and installations will also be assessed with regard to safety considerations before approval.

Proposals will be reviewed on an ongoing basis by the Arts Amplified advisory committee. We will not be able to accept proposals less than six weeks out from the target event date. Approved proposals will be added to the Arts Amplified series, and provided with logistical and marketing support.
